PORTRAITURE

Most people aren't comfortable in front of the camera. In fact, most people dread it. That's thanks to a lifetime of putting up a façade every time a lens points their way, and then finding disappointing results when they see photos that were taken at the wrong time or the wrong angle. This situation leads to a belief that the responsibility for how a portrait turns out rests with you, the subject—but in fact nothing could be further from the truth. We believe it's the photographer's role to coax you into letting down your guard, to draw out the real you, and to capture the photos at just the right moment. Our experience photographing weddings helps us do just that.

INVESTMENT & SHOOT STRUCTURE

Our portrait sessions take place on location in the Chattanooga area, and generally last about an hour. That time is spent getting to know you and getting you comfortable in front of the camera. We'll be shooting continually during that time, and we'll shoot in several spots around the location. Ideally the location should have some significance for you, which adds an extra layer of meaning and context to the finished photos. Our approach ensures that the final portfolio will have a lot of variety for you to choose from.
